Sam M. Carr is the founding pastor of Word of Life Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, a church which is reaching out to the world. Pastor Carr is an international speaker and is well-known as an anointed teacher and minister, presenting the Word of God with boldness, clarity and simplicity. His message is always fresh and relevant to the hour.

Pastor Carr hosts “Word Alive”, a daily television program, airing in various markets, including India, Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. “Word Alive” is a locally produced television program sharing spiritual principles for daily living from the Word of God.

Pastor Carr has a heart and vision to reach the world with the Gospel. He has ministered the Word of God in leadership and pastors conferences in countries around the world, including, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Mexico, Russia, Bermuda, Philippines, China, Korea, France, Sweden, India and Africa.

In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Carr is a member of the International Convention of Faith Ministers (ICFM), a board member of C.G.I. (Church Growth International, Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Chairman) and President of the Mercy Ministries Board.

Pastor Carr and his wife, Becky, have three children: a son, Taylor, and two daughters, Lindsey and Lainey.
